Student Support

Your student will be met where they are and challenged to flourish at a higher level, while also being given time to experience success at their individual pace without being advanced into a curriculum they are not ready to handle. Our classes are generally divided into:

  • Early Kindergarten [3K & 4K] offered by our sister school Maximum Early Learning Center
  • Kindergarten [5K]
  • Second Level [1st & 2nd grade]
  • Elementary Level [3rd-6th grade]
  • Upper Level [7th - 12th grade]

We utilize Christian curriculum with proven track records of success: ABeka, Answers In Genesis, Story of the World, Mystery of History, Apologia, Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) and Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.)

Students enjoy learning and actually like to go to school. Parents like the safe rural setting and that they can be as involved as they would like to be.

Grade Level Highlights

Our youngest learners learn through play, fun songs and hands-on activities in a warm, Christ-centered environment where they feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. Highlights include Friday field trips to local parks, the zoo and Strawberry Hill to name a few.  They beam as they perform in the Christmas production and craft their way through advent.

As curiosity grows, students dive deeper into science, history, and creative projects that are fun, such as time lines, robotic hands, team competitions and science experiments. Christ-centered wellness guidance is highlighted each year during our spring jog-a-thon.  It never ceases to amaze the students how far and how long they can run having trained throughout the year with Coach Franz.

Older students benefit from flexible learning paths, individualized support, and opportunities to strengthen leadership and communication skills.  Highlights include their lead roles in the Christmas Play, opportunities to guide groups of younger students, starting, organizing and leading interest clubs and a challenging physical education program. The fun of learning doesn’t stop at this age as they engage in fun competitions, role-plays, historical character guessing games and science experiments to name a few of the interactive ways that learning is made more interesting.

When we enrolled our daughter at Maximum Christian School, we hoped she would grow academically and socially—but we never imagined just how much she would blossom in her kindergarten year. She has learned so much in reading and early math, but what has impressed us most is how her confidence developed.
